Petium World Tour
Pentium World Tour is the design concept for a hypothetical World Tour by the Catalan group Tarta Relena. The group's mission is to explore and reinterpret traditional Mediterranean music with a modern approach. Their work blends resources from different vocal techniques (flamenco, lyrical, traditional, jazz, etc.) with electronic elements to recontextualize the songs. Their lyrics are often in various languages, including Catalan, Greek, Latin, and Spanish, reflecting their interest in diverse cultural roots and the Mediterranean’s musical heritage.
In an art direction exercise, we proposed the entire design and strategy the band would need for such a tour. Before that, we developed a concept and a naming to serve as the foundation. In a socially overstimulated and mentally saturated moment, the tour, under the name “Pentium,” seeks to act as a catalyst for reconnection with our essence. Tradition and the past become sources of inspiration to rediscover everything we have lost, now unveiled with a modern and pure image: Tarta Relena.
Regarding merchandising, under the concept of “Artisans of Quintessence” and the name “Pentium,” we envisioned a different approach: offering “pieces” where users could create and find their essence. Following the aesthetic proposed for the concert visuals, we designed necklaces and olfactory fragrances.
These necklaces contain a spongy fabric inside that absorbs the fragrance liquid, allowing the scent to be stored and emitted by its users. The pendants are shaped like various elements of the tour—an olive, a tulip, a whale, etc.—and these pieces are designed with perforations in a grid pattern that allows the aromas to diffuse outward.
Beyond the public merchandise, we aim to host a workshop where users can experiment with fragrances, creating combinations to discover the scents they love most and want to carry in their necklaces. This initiative seeks to connect people, both those we know and strangers, to create a communal event and redefine what a concert can evoke and transmit to its audience. It elevates tradition and the culture of each city, reclaiming its "lost pieces," much like those of its citizens.
This represents a new way of understanding music and the stage experience, one that we believe amplifies everything the singers communicate.

Graphic proposal
The “Petium” tour’s visual design synthesizes the essence of Tarta Relena and 8 cities into abstract objects, representing unique identities as fragments found after a shipwreck, connected to the musical duo.

Performance & scenario
As in all other areas, the stage is an extension of the chosen concept and naming. This time, we wanted to play with the space where it would be set to create a "monumental" architectural piece, evoking an image akin to a ritual.
