Zahr Project 01

Zahr is born from a futuristic hypothesis where humanity has polluted the planet to the point that even breathing has become hazardous, wiping out much of the animal and plant species in our ecosystem, along with their scents. Technology, both the cause of this disaster and the means of survival within it, forces people to endure rather than live fully. In this catastrophic context, where masks are necessary to shield from pollution, Zahr emerges as the fragrance of this dystopian future, offering a chance to reclaim the lost emotions associated with scents.

Seeds, the last surviving plant elements, have been genetically modified through technology to grow rapidly

within the mask, allowing users to experience what their ancestors once overlooked but now consider invaluable: the simple act of smelling and connecting with everything it evokes. Each seed represents a different perfume, and the mask serves as its container and vehicle. This creates a new ecosystem where technology and nature intertwine, reminding users of their true essence and helping them rediscover the joy, emotion, and well-being that something as simple as the smell of a peach can bring.

No longer do we smell for others; the paradigm has shifted, and now we smell for ourselves, reconnecting with what truly matters and reflecting on how we lost our way.

For this project, everything was designed, from the product itself to the entire art direction campaign needed to sell it to the consumer. We set a date for the launch event and planned all the communication materials necessary to maximize the impact for these day. This is why the project goes beyond product design, incorporating multiple disciplines such as graphic design, spatial design, video production and post-production, and all the prior art direction required to visually balance and harmonize the overall project.
